Internship – Investment Management (m/f/d) – Real Estate Private Equity

Your responsibilities

As an Intern (m/f/d) you will work from day one as a full member of our investment team with our experienced professionals to identify, evaluate and execute investment opportunities. In addition to your communicative nature, your analytical and entrepreneurial understanding are particularly in demand. Demonstrate your capabilities in ongoing transactions and the development of investment strategies, where your analytical and critical thinking will empower you to quickly assume a high level of responsibility.

Support the execution of Private Equity Real Estate transactions from origination to closing
Collaborate closely with senior team members to ensure the successful completion of transactions
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions and contribute to the development of investment strategies
Assist in creating cash flow models to evaluate investment opportunities; analyze and interpret financial statements, cash flow projections, and valuation metrics
Prepare investment memos and presentations for management and investment committees
Provide support for portfolio management of existing investments

Your profile

Outstanding academic background in economics/business administration, industrial engineering, or civil engineering
Previous experience in a dynamic working environment (private equity, investment banking, consulting)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and strategic problem solving skills
Fluency in German and English, additional European languages welcome
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Deine überdurchschnittliche Motivation und Lernbereitschaft ermöglichen es Dir, Dich schnell in neue Themengebiete einzuarbeiten und ein hohes Maß an Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Bei herausragender Leistung unterbreiten wir Dir im Anschluss an Dein Praktikum ein Angebot für den Festeinstieg.

Begleitung von Real Estate Transaktionen vom Sourcing bis zum Geschäftsabschluss
Selbstständiges Vorantreiben eigener Projekte
Durchführung von Investitionsanalysen zusammen mit dem Investment Team
Erstellung von Businessplänen und Financial Models
Durchführung der kompletten Due Diligence durch interne Prozesse und Kooperation mit externen Dienstleistern
Erstellung von Entscheidungsvorlagen für das Investment Committee

Anforderungen

Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, oder Bauingenieurwissenschaften – mit exzellenten Leistungen
Bereits gesammelte Erfahrungen in einem schnelllebigen Arbeitsumfeld (z.B. M&A, Transaction Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Strategieberatung, Private Equity)
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere europäische Sprachen sind willkommen
Exzellente Excel- und PowerPoint-Kenntnisse
Sehr gutes Zahlenverständnis sowie eine exakte, analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
Sehr hohe Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit
